It is 1976, Taxi Driver has just been released in movie theaters, the music group U2 is formed in Dublin, a certain Steve Jobs founds Apple in Cupertino, Roberto Benigni makes his TV debut in Italy, and we have the first woman minister in government, Tina Anselmi.

It was in this year of great achievements and new beginnings that in Brescia, two young brothers, experts in metallurgy and machining, decided to start their own manufacturing business. This would soon become Tecnica Press, one of the big players in the European funeral accessories industry.

Paolo and Giacomo Moretti are the protagonists of this entrepreneurial story, which spans nearly half a century of activity and continuous growth.
It seems like yesterday, when the first piece, still steaming, was coming out of the die casting process; when Tecnica Press proudly presented itself for the first time at an industry trade fair; when an idea scribbled on a restaurant napkin became first a technical drawing and then the company’s best-selling product. Not a day seems to have gone by, because today like then, the ideals and commitment of the Tecnica Press company have remained steadfast and unchanged.

While it is true that success cannot be achieved without effort, the hard work and courage of the Moretti brothers would still not have been enough if they had not also had a clear purpose and direction to follow: to become the best in the industry, to be successful in order to make their customers successful as well.

This steadfast belief has led Tecnica Press to grow and evolve over time, adopting expansions and strategic relocations of production facilities without delay; constantly investing in upgrading production facilities and staff training, and anticipating sustainable strategies and best practices to reduce the impact on the environment.

Whole pages could be spent telling the story of Tecnica Press, but if we want to be extremely concrete, suffice to say that in a globalized world where “the market is the judge,” this small Italian excellence has not gone unnoticed. Tecnica Press’ customer base has thus expanded like wildfire in just a handful of years, starting from the small province of Brescia to the whole of Europe, even touching on some important international markets outside the EU.

Tecnica Press valori aziendali

Today, Tecnica Press is an advanced manufacturing concern, where the latest technologies and advanced know-how, coexist in a business environment that is still people-friendly. Paraphrasing the great entrepreneur and patron Adriano Olivetti, we firmly believe that the most important assets are people and not just machines and the profit index.

Indeed, over decades of activity,Tecnica Press can boast an invaluable “human capital” cultivated both within the company and in the solid network of partners, collaborators and clients that orbit around it. Tecnica Press is what it is today, thanks to each of these people who have contributed by sharing their experience and nurturing a passion for our noble craft, always with deep seriousness and dedication.
